The Calgary Stampede is here and as a Calgary girl I’ve always been a big fan of the event. In order to get the my toddler in the spirit we’ve been doing fun cowboy / wild west themed activities at home. My toddler just turned two and if he’s left by himself in a room he will get into all kinds of trouble. He’ll run to the bathroom turn on the tap and spray water everywhere, climb the handles on the kitchen drawers, belly flop off the couch, and try to “drive” mommy’s car. Basically anything that might wind up with a trip to the emergency room he’ll decide to do. Therefore, one of my challenges of having two under two has been that my tot needs to be in the same room as me when I am tucking baby in for naps.
